The Western Shaker Singers always welcomes new members!  If you like to sing, enjoy unusual choral music with uplifting lyrics and easy-to-learn melodies and harmonies, and have an interest in American history, you may want to consider joining us.  No auditions are necessary!  Like the Shakers, we believe that a willing and creative spirit is the most important quality that a singer can bring.  We rehearse approximately every two weeks at a central location in Newport/Highland Heights.

   We are looking for opportunities to share Shaker music with the public.  We can offer a range of programs in both concert and workshop format, combining costumed singing and dancing with informative oral presentations about Shaker history, culture, and beliefs.
